چکیده

Tourism is an important driver of economic growth for several countries in the world. However, rise tourism activities has raised concerns regarding emissions resulting from tourist such as transportation well consequent effect on quality environment. Hence, this study examines impact and other factors investments, energy utilization carbondioxide (CO 2 ) emission emerging industrialized seven namely (China, India, Brazil, Mexico, Russia, Indonesia Turkey) period 2000 to 2018. The uses Pool Mean Group Autoregressive Distributed Lag (PMG-ARDL), ordinal least square (OLS), dynamic ordinals (DOLS) fully modified (FMOLS) estimators Dumitrescu Hurlin Causality Test. Long run regression estimates reveal that a increase lower E7 which can be traced adoption environmentally friendly tourism. Furthermore, investment growth, majority results point both (E7) while consumption CO countries. suggests implementation sustained continually improve natural environment blocs. How Does Large-scale Wind Power Generation Affect Energy and Reserve Prices?

Intermittent nature of wind power faced ISO and power producers with new challenges. Wind power uncertainty has increased the required reserve capacity and deployment reserve. Consequently, large-scale wind power generation increases ISO costs and consequently reserve prices. On the other hand, since wind power producers are price taker, large-scale wind power generation decreases residual dema...

Investment in Energy Efficiency, Adoption of Renewable Energy and Household Behaviour: Evidence from OECD countries

There exist some possible synergies between energy efficiency measures and renewable energy adoption in the sense that the former reduces the energy demand so that the latter can begin to cut future GHG emissions with a high potential in residential sector. In this residential sector, many works have been done either on demand for clean energy or on investment in energy efficiency, but to our k...

Revisiting the emissions-energy-trade nexus: evidence from the newly industrializing countries.

This paper applies Pedroni's panel cointegration approach to explore the causal relationship between trade openness, carbon dioxide emissions, energy consumption, and economic growth for the panel of newly industrialized economies (i.e., Brazil, India, China, and South Africa) over the period of 1970-2013. Our panel cointegration estimation results found majority of the variables cointegrated a...
